Is there admission to the Big Iron Farm Show?

The Big Iron Farm Show is free to attend. Free parking is available around the Fairgrounds during the show as well.

How many years has the Big Iron Farm Show been held?

The Big Iron Farm Show began in 1980 in Casselton, ND. The 2023 show will be the 43rd show.

The show is large - How do I get around?

Yes, it is large. Big Iron events and exhibits cover more than 200 acres of ground. Golf carts can be rented through All Season Motorsports in Booth 1800 or by calling (701) 282-2336. If you are bringing your own golf cart, a golf cart license must be purchased for $25. The license form is available on the Downloadable Forms page. Free shuttle service throughout the grounds will be provided.

Will I be able to see working equipment at the show?

You can see all types of equipment in the field demonstration area just south of the Red River Valley grandstand (weather permitting). Trams or People Movers are available to take people to and from the demonstration area. The tram loading area is directly in front of the grandstand.

Why does Big Iron have health and wellness exhibits?

Since it began, the Big Iron Farm Show has evolved from a farm equipment show to a three-day celebration of rural living, including —agribusiness, innovation and technology, and health. You will be able to learn more about or participate in: Blood Donation, Health Screenings, and much more.

Who manages Big Iron?

The Big Iron Farm Show is a subsidiary of the Red River Valley Fair Association. The Big Iron Farm Show is planned by a volunteer committee of individuals involved in various aspects of agribusiness.

How many exhibitors will be at the Big Iron Farm Show? How many attendees will attend?

More than 60,000 attendees come from across the U.S. and from several other countries to see demonstrations, visit 900+ exhibit booths, connect with their peers and attend training sessions.

Will the Big Iron Farm Show be cancelled if it rains?

The Big Iron Farm Show will be held rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather, the show may delay or be closed depending on the severity of the weather.
